Oasis gives homeless and disadvantaged young people hope, help and opportunities to access relevant education, training, jobs, counselling, and drug/alcohol programs.
Oasis cannot effectively undertake this intensive work until young people are off the street and in a safe, stable environment. On any given night, Oasis helps to accommodate and feed more than 100 homeless young people. Check out their amazing work at: http://salvos.org.au/oasis/ |

The National Youth Coalition for Housing (NYCH) was formed to end youth homelessness and create youth housing solutions. In order to meet this aim, NYCH explores the causes of youth homelessness and provides information on the reasons for youth homelessness and the impacts on young people and the broader community. NYCH also attempts to put forward strategies to government at a Federal and State level to end youth homelessness.
NYCH is one of the leading voices on youth homelessness in Australia. The NYCH national board is represented by members from the youth housing and homelessness sectors in each State/Territory in Australia. To find out more, go to www.nationalyouthcoalitionforhousing.org.au |
